The words “Iron Age” are engraved on the front face and enhance the grip of the pick slightly to keep it in place.
They're easy to handle and have smooth sides that glide nicely across the strings while producing a thick warm tone. Available in standard & jazz pick sizes.

Smooth as glass
“Plectrum delight. Amazing tone and a smooth attack on the strings!”
Matt L. 3/23/21
“This just isn’t a pick it’s a gateway to cleaner playing. The pick glides across the strings while still giving you a good grip between your fingers. “
Enrique F. 3/30/20
Agate Stone Pick
“This pick is a pleasant surprise, I have never played with stone picks but this soon became one of my favorite picks to use, it soars and glides through strings effortlessly, heavy use and it doesn't even have a dent, feels so smooth in the hand, nice colors.”
34 x22 x 2.5mm
Material: Cast Acrylic
These are some of our more unique guitar picks with an offset elongated profile.
Fenrir’s Fang was named after the canines of the terrible wolf who was killed by Vidarr, after consuming his father, Odin.
Its’ most prominent feature is the eye-catching Norse-inspired rune that brightly displays the menacing creature.
Being made from a high quality cast acrylic, the Fenrir’s Fang is built to last with a unique guitar pick shape that doesn't get in the way of its comfortability.
It features a lightly brushed face for maximum grip and bevels polished to perfection for a pick that can glide quite nicely across strings.
Joshua C. 9/07/19
Most Accurate Pick I've Ever Used!
“I was totally blown away by the speed and accuracy of this pick… Fenrir's Fang is my favorite! Its very close to a standard pick size, but the extra steep point really helps pick out those individual notes. Pinch harmonics are absolutely effortless and the brushed face never slips. The textured bevel that i requested provides for a wonderfully strong and bright attack. I highly recommend this pick to anyone looking for accuracy.”
Adrian C. 3/19/19
The Only Pick I Use
“This pick genuinely feels as though it improves my playing on some level. The fine point seems to give no loss in tone, as I've noticed with other thicker gauge picks. It's also incredibly easy and satisfying to perform pinch harmonics with this pick, as it's both effortless, and gives a very punchy sound to them.”
27.5 x 25.5 x 4mm
Material: Pearlescent Cast Acrylic
Smallest of the Imperial Series, this pick is fast and for those who like to feel more connected to their strings and in control of their sound.
This is somewhat of a thicker option for fans of the Jazz 3.
It features a glow design with our signature Iron Age emblem in the center along with a polished & elegant look.
Alexander C. 12/07/21
The Ultimate Pick
“To my hands, this pick is the pinnacle… It is so comfortable to play with. It's the perfect size, and has everything I need: a nice, gliding strum, pinch harmonics pop right out, excellent tone, nice attack and release as well. It is also absolutely gorgeous and inspires me to pick up the guitar just looking at it, and it should last a long time. Worth every penny of the investment.”
Robert L. 6/17/21
Best Guitar Pick
“It is the perfect size and the craftsmanship is incredible. Feels perfect for accuracy and my hand is a lit less fatigued.”
Matthew W. 6/16/20
“Highly recommend this pick has replaced everything! The attack and articulation is out of this world. The tones are amazing and playing has gotten so much easier will be buying another”
Standard - 30.5 x 25.5 x 1.5mm
Jazz - 27 x 24 x 1.5mm
Material: Solid Brass
Strengths: This is a strong and sturdy pick that offers smooth playing, with a hefty weight to bounce off the strings and produce a powerful sound.
It features heavily brushed faces and our signature Iron Age logo on the front face for maximum grip.
Polished bevels provide a nice contrast and add the incredible playability & tone.
Its durability makes it one of the best guitar picks for metal!
Matt W. 2/28/22
Can't get more metal than a metal pick
“I bought both sizes and love the jazz sized pick. It is slightly larger than the jazz 3. It shreds and glides across strings better than other metal picks due to the beveled edges. It is crafted very well.”
Robert I. 2/25/22
“This pick is amazing. It plays like a heavier Ernie ball prodigy pick in all the right ways! Definitely would recommend for trem picking and chugs!”
Andrew G. 8/25/21
“I purchased both the standard and jazz size. The jazz size is more of a jazz XL size. Both are high quality. The polished bevels are top notch. The picks have a nice heft to them that translates to the strings when played. Each note has a weight to it. And being a metal plec, there is a higher amount of drag when plucking/sweeping that I enjoy leaning into. I waited for these to become available again for quite some time, and I have to say I quite like the characteristics of these brass "ducats."
29 x 23 x 3.5mm
Material: Macassar Ebony
Strengths: Much like the Ivory Spearhead, this pick is crafted in the exact same way aside from the notches that the Ivory Spearhead has.
The Macassar Ebony Spearhead pick is slightly lighter than the Ivory Spearhead.
Comparatively, it offers a dense darker tone and grips the strings a little more than its Ivory counterpart.
Seem to be one of the best acoustic guitar picks although we would personally use it more for individual notes than strumming.
Shawn B. 7/22/21
Wooden pick unlike anything I've ever played with
“Now I've heard good things about wooden picks but nothing could have prepared me for this pick. This thing is remarkably hard wood but it feels so soft and smooth and it rolls right over the strings. The shape is great for tight accurate picking and it helps my notes ring out clear. I already want another one. I will always have one of these picks on hand from here on out. It may seem weird to pay more for a pick but honestly I cant go back to cheap picks now and these are hand crafted, I'm surprised he's not charging more.”
Joshua B. 5/15/20
“Love these for playing acoustic. As always top notch fit and finish. It’s always a pleasure when the iron age order comes in!”
Ryan S. 5/07/20
“The ebony spearhead is my third pick from Iron Age. I’ve been impressed by all of them. This pick has a very smooth action on the strings. I’m an aggressive player and it can handle the fastest and hardest of riffing. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a regular pick.”
29 x 24mm x 4mm
(can be customized anywhere down to 2.5mm)
Material: Faux Ivory
Strengths: Handcrafted form simulated ivory material, the Ivory "Parthenon" Spearhead is a razor-sharp elongated jazz pick shape that features rounded satin bevels,
brushed faces for easy grip, and notches on the top and sides for design that gives it the feel of a pick carved out of a shark's tooth.
Our Iron Age logo is engraved on the front face and accentuates the grip of the plectrum with its depth.
This is another unique guitar pick that's only available through Iron Age who began cutting notches in our picks since 2015.
This custom guitar pick is also great as is comes in a thick 4mm profile but can be reduced anywhere down to 2.5mm.
Best guitar picks for high speed & low drag.

This pick is outstanding
“I use this with my resonator at the moment. Between the Spearhead and the DADFAD tuning I get an eerie sound I’ve not been able to get with my Dunlop 4.20. With my shredding guitar, It will shred! Looking forward to trying a few other Iron Age products…”
Dale U. 3/24/21
Best Death Metal Pick
“Glides through the strings with superior balance, effectively boosting accuracy. The material doesn't wear down as easy.”
Lucas R. 5/16/20
Spearhead note cutter
“Great product. Material is resilient. Lots of note in the attack. Stabs notes out of your strings with articulate precision.”
Standard - 30 x 25 x 1mm
Jazz - 26 x 23.5 x 1mm
Material: Carbon Fiber
Strengths: This pick is the thinnest handmade pick that we make & is an old favorite that's gone through many iterations.
As the name suggests, the material is 100% solid carbon fiber, which is a super durable material that is firm, strong,
extremely lightweight, and can be incredibly precise in the hands of the right guitarist .
With a luxurious high quality pick such as this, you might as well be driving a Lamborghini on your strings.
Scott B. 2/08/20
Carbon Fiber FTW
“I love this pick. It's fast, precise and so far has not worn down much at all. I tend to be hard on my plectrums though and this one is quite the workhorse.”
Joshua C. 2/07/20
Best Standard Shaped Pick Ever!!
“Although I'm used to Iron Age's thicker picks this one is still great. There is absolutely zero flex which makes it extremely accurate. I'd highly recommend this pick to anyone who wants to get used to a stiff pick.”
Zachery R. 8/9/18
“Love these picks! Great for when you want a thin pick that doesn’t have a lot of flex and goes exactly where you want it to!”
32.5 x 27.5 x 4mm
Material: Pearlescent Cast Acrylic
Strengths: The most unique pick and our flagship pick.
It has a full polish from faces to bevels and has a shape that is quite comfortable to hold without putting too much strain on the hand when holding the pick.
It features a detailed glow design on the front face with our Iron Age emblem in the center. It’s made from a pearlescent imperial blue acrylic material that glides across the strings.
Obviously this isn't something you'd find mass produced in a guitar center but in our opinion it's one of the best guitar picks around.

Imperator Pick - WOW, simply amazing!!!
“First of, huge thanks to Iron Age for their absolutely amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail, and their customer service and communication is superb. Now onto the Imperator pick, boy where do I begin because I’m absolutely speechless and blown away by the beauty and quality of this epic pick. The finish and detail are absolutely stunning, I can stare and hold this pick for hours, thus resulting in lots and I mean lots of guitar playing 😁. Then comes the sound or the attack, it’s absolutely crisp and makes the strings sound and ring out beautifully. Honestly, if you haven’t purchased one, then please do and you’ll be blown away by the immaculate craftsmanship of these hand made picks, I will be purchasing more very shortly and probably start collecting these because they are pure art!!! Again, huge thanks to Iron Age, couldn’t possibly be any happier with my purchase 🙌🙌😁”
Patrick L. 10/11/19
“I was worried about this being too thick, but it definitely is not! The logo and glow in the dark engraving adds a lot of grip and looks super cool! I love the shape, and the picking edge. This picks plays and sounds great! Definitely one of my favorites!”
Ross D. 10/5/19
“Absolutely stunning!! ...There truly is no other pick quite like the Imperator! All the photos don’t do this pick justice! It looks insane!!! And to back it up it plays and feels just as good! Fast and articulate!! 👍🤘”
28 x 26.5, 3.25mm
28 x 26.5 x 4mm
Material: Faux Ivory (Black)
Strengths: The original is one of the brightest & eye catching picks around.
This current version is made out of resin that's jam-packed with UV glow pigments.
Once this pick is charged with UV light, it gives off an amazing glow effect.
The Onyx version is crafted from 4mm black faux ivory and plays as smooth as it looks.
A smooth satin finish is applied to the edges for the perfect amount of bite without getting to gritty.
Guitar pick grip is handled with a coarse brushed finish on the faces & engravings that help keep it locked in place.
Tajinder S. 8/20/21
“Fantastic pick. Very well balanced, excellent feel, attack is clean and sharp. Easy to vary dynamically for a wide range of feel and articulation. Size is near perfect for me, one of my favorites from IA and highly recommended.”
Mick R. 3/1/20
“The Helios-3 are just overall amazing!!! The grip of this pick makes it easy to handle and attacks the string with clean sound. Its the second one ive purchased cause i love the way they look.”
Nikita K. 10/14/19
“Couldn't resist myself not to try this little guy. Best choice for every Jazz3 lover and anyone who’s afraid to lose his pick in the dark of stage!”
Jazz3 Style - 26 x 25 x 4mm
JazzXL Style - 29 x 28 x 4mm
(Both can be customized anywhere down to 2.5mm)
Material: Faux Ivory
Strengths: The Iron Age Jazz3 style pick is a classic that's available in 2 sizes.
Both have an enhanced grip through the coarse texture & engraving on the faces that keep this pick right where you need it.
Effortless playing is achieved through the hand-sculpted bevels that are finished in a soft satin texture...
Overall the simulated ivory material has a soft luxurious feel with a sound that is clean & precise.
Last but not least, the 4mm is chunky enough without being impractical & helps to provide you with the most comfort,
especially if you tend to grip onto picks too hard or suffer from something like carpal tunnel.

Amazing pick - Facilitates speed with relaxation
“This is really a great pick. Apart from the fact that it looks really cool, it is exactly what I needed for building my speed. It's extremely comfortable to hold and helps to reduce tension. Also, the engraving helps to keep the pick from slipping. I got the 3mm version, which is a tank and ensures the pick moves through the string without flex or argument.”
Eduardo R. 8/13/21
This Jazz 3 is an Upgrade
“...Holy moly is this an improvement… I feel at home with this pick, like any limitations from a pick are gone and it is just down to my own technique and abilities. The best tool is one that gets our of your way and lets you play your best, and this pick does just that. I was so impressed that I had to order another with a custom inlay so I know it is mine and no one will steal it! I'm sure the price point might be what keep people from ordering, but for a pick that is easy to hold, gets out of your way, lasts longer (no visible wear yet), and just feels better... the price is worth it.”
Sean M. 5/13/21
Outstanding Craftsmanship and Feel
“Compared this pick to my current go-to over several practice/jam sessions. Rotated between the two while playing and I was consistently surprised by the feel and tone of the Iron Age. I will be picking a few more up in the future. The pick is light, feels great in hand, has an ideal shape, and provides exceptional tone and attack. Fantastic craftsmanship and design.”
