This line was born to keep pace with heavy-handed players and fretboard hard-chargers who asked for something that wouldn’t fold under real speed and real hours. That’s been the premise since the early Legio Ferrata rollout in 2016.

Back in the early Legio Ferrata concept, the brief was practical: UHMWPE for low drag and extreme wear resistance, built for heavy-handed and fast technical playing. That shop-floor intent is still the spine.
Numbers give the why. UHMWPE’s dry dynamic Coefficient of Friction vs steel landing roughly around ~0.09–0.12, with Delrin/POM often listed higher depending on grade and conditions, supports the simplest real-world translation: a slicker interface.
In abrasive-wear testing, UHMWPE showing a much lower wear rate than POM under that setup supports the second translation: the edge can stay true longer.
That’s the meaning, not just the math. The legion survives the campaign so it can win the fight.
