Updates to the Imperator Program (7/29/2025)

Hello everyone,

After many years of running the Imperator Program, I'm excited to share some important updates! We’ve listened to your feedback and taken a close look at how the program can better serve our loyal supporters. Today, we’re rolling out several changes designed to make rewards more accessible, consistent, and fair.

What’s Changed?

1. Custom Pick Options Removed
We’ve decided to retire the custom pick options from the program. This is similar to our earlier decision to end “custom picks by the dozen.” The main reason is that custom orders typically require a lot of back-and-forth, and sourcing the right materials can be challenging as we don’t always have them in stock. This change allows us to focus on delivering a smoother experience across the board, and we appreciate your understanding.

2. Updated Pricing for Free Items
We noticed that some “Free” reward items had outdated pricing, meaning coupons didn’t always make them truly free. We’ve now updated these prices so that when you redeem a coupon, you really do get your item at no cost.

3. More Coupon Options for Consistency
To make things more consistent, we’ve added 10% off and 5% off coupons. These join our existing $20 off and 20% off coupons, giving you more ways to save.

4. Lower Cost for the Mystery Pick Coupon
We’ve reduced the cost of the Mystery Pick coupon from 2000 to 1500 points. This means more of you can enjoy a little surprise from time to time!

5. Reduced Prices Across (Almost) All Coupons
We want the program to feel more accessible and rewarding, so most coupon prices have been lowered. Here’s a summary of the changes:

• $5 off: 450 → 425 points
• $10 off: 900 → 850 points
• 20% off: 1800 → 1700 points
• $20 off: 1800 → 1700 points
• Free Patch: 300 → 350 points
• Free Imperator: 2400 → 1800 points
• Free Centurion: 2925 → 2300 points
• Free Fenrir’s Fang: 2400 → 1700 points
• Free Non-LED Killswitch: 2100 → 1650 points

To give you a clearer idea of how the new coupon costs work, most free product rewards now require points equal to just half the product’s value. For example, if a pick normally sells for $36 (3600 pts), you can now redeem it for 1800 points ($18) instead of the previous 2400 ($24). This makes it much easier to use your points for the gear you want.

For dollar-off and percent-off coupons, we’ve also adjusted the point costs to give you better value. Previously, a $20 coupon (which would be worth 2000 points at a 1:1 ratio) cost 1800 points—a 10% savings. With the new update, that same coupon is now just 1700 points, giving you a 15% savings. This applies across all similar coupons, so your points should go further no matter which rewards you choose.
