Ebony Spearhead Personalized Guitar Pick

A personalized guitar pick made from Macassar ebony wood and engraved with your name, initials, date, short phrase, or simple logo.

This product uses the Iron Age Ebony Spearhead, a dark, refined wooden pick with a smooth Spearhead profile and a more minimal look than the notched acrylic and faux ivory versions. Macassar ebony is known for its bold natural grain, with deep brown, black, chocolate, and caramel-toned figuring that gives each pick its own character.

Behind the premium appearance, this is still a functional player’s pick. The faces are finished to a coarse brushed feel, giving the pick a solid grip and precise playing response. It is a strong choice for players who want something more distinctive than a standard pick, or for anyone looking for a darker, more elegant personalized guitar gift.

How to Order

For text engraving, enter the name, initials, date, or short phrase you want engraved in the Order Notes box at checkout.

For logo engraving, place your order first, then email your simple black-and-white logo to:

Please include your order number in the email.

If there are any issues with the engraving request, artwork, or layout, I will contact you as soon as possible before production.

Engraving Details

Your custom engraving will be placed on the back of the pick and filled in gold for warm contrast against the dark Macassar ebony wood. The front keeps its original Iron Age design.

Text and logos are resized and centered for the best proportions, so shorter names, initials, dates, and simple artwork will usually appear larger, cleaner, and easier to read.

Names, initials, dates, short phrases, and simple gift messages work best. Text engravings use a clean serif font chosen for readability at pick size. For a specific font style, contact me before ordering.

For logo engraving, bold and clean black-and-white artwork is recommended. Ebony is best suited for cleaner marks, initials, names, and simpler logos. For more detailed engraving work, the Faux Ivory or Ultem Spearhead options are recommended, since those materials hold finer detail more cleanly.

Natural wood grain varies from pick to pick, so color, streaking, and figuring will not be identical on every piece.
