In Greek mythology,
Elysium is a paradise in the after-life for the righteous,
where not just anyone can enter.

It's somewhat like Asgard in Norse myth
which is accessed only through the Bifrost bridge,
and only by those that the gods deem worthy.

So there is much similarity between the two,
not just in story, but also in construction of these two picks.


About the Elysian Spear
It's cut from the same material as the much sought-after Bifrost picks,
and also the special edition MMXIX Imperators.
The base material is a clear resin which adds depth
as the other "liquefied" colors appear suspended in time & space.

So if you've tried either of the past limited editions,
this one might be familiar.
And especially if you've ever played one of the flagship "Spearhead"
picks which this one is modeled after.


About Its Features
The Elysian Spear bears a sharp & tapered point.
It's more like the LF-Spearhead pick,
than the rounded Ivory & Ebony models.

All hard edges are removed however and
the fine bevels are blended in for a sleek minimal look.

Since less material is removed around the edges,
it also allows for a longer break-in period
so that the pick can adjust to your natural angle of picking.

Each pick also features UV-reactive resins that illuminate under UV blacklight,
as well as a glow-in-the-dark engraving (In aqua blue)
which can be charged with direct sunlight & other intense light sources.
If you want to get the full glow experience though,
a UV blacklight is recommended.


Limited Run
Due to the handcrafted nature of the material,
only a unique 6x6 inch plate was available
and so there are only 18 of these collectible picks.

Each one has been carefully sculpted by hand,
and polished to a high gloss in order
to showcase the ethereal characteristics of the material.


Dimensions
Each Elysian Spear measures approximately 30*23mm
and has a gauge of 3.5mm at the thickest end
which tapers down to about 1.5mm
