Kill-Switch Installation Kits

Everything You Need In One Place
Make Your Installation A Breeze
  • Here you can find the various kits to install your killswitch into any guitar.

    There's 2 kits available for passive-pickup guitars:

The Micro-switch kit ($2) which allows you to turn the LED on or off at will. The micro-switch can be installed on the back of electronics covers, or pickguards.
    Includes:
    • 1 Duracell 9v coppertop battery
    • 1 Battery connector
    • 1 i/o Micro switch
    -OR-
The Stereo-jack kit ($4) which automatically turns your LED on while an instrument cable is plugged in. Most active-pickup guitars already have a stereo jack installed. It will have 3 prongs instead of the regular 2.
    Includes:
    • 1 Duracell 9v coppertop battery
    • 1 Battery connector
    • 1 Switchcraft stereo jack
  • For guitar's that already have a stereo jack installed (most active-pickup guitars)
or when installing a non-LED killswitch model,
all you might need is a drill bit.

Our drill bits are made from steel, and can be used repeatedly for multiple installations.

Their cutting diameter is 16mm & can be used to install ALL of our killswitch models. Each one is $5

*Drill bits are sold separately & are not included with the other kits.

  • Circular files($3)
are now available for enlarging potentiometer holes in order to fit a killswitch. This is the preferred method to use for those wanting to replace their tone knob for a killswitch instead of trying to drill a larger hole without a drill press.

**Our forstner bits are not recommended for hole enlargement as they require material to grab onto at the center for guidance.

Splice Kits ($1) For those who aren't solder-savvy or don't have the tools at hand, splices are also being offered. Each splice kit has a total of 3 splices, that's 1 pair and an extra just in case you lose one. These splices allow you to connect the killswitch onto existing ground/hot wires for your pickups without soldering the ends. All you need is some pliers.
