In the past couple month's we've had a major release (Acrylic picks of the Imperial Series)
and one series update (The Ivory Parthenon Series, replaced natural bone & horn).
This has been in the works for quite a while,
and its time has finally come.
So what's the theme for this new series??
Norse mythology of course,
namely its apocalypse story,
the Ragnarok.
Perhaps it was all the listening of Bathory's viking metal albums over the years...
maybe it was the epic stories told of the 9 realms,
and of the Aesir (The tribe of Norse deities) going into battle - One final time.
It can only be described as EPIC,
and it's what has inspired this upcoming collection.
The Ragnarok can be described as the ultimate fight between good and evil,
the destruction of the world as we know it,
but also the re-birth & renewal of a new age.
This series will be made of premium cast-acrylic, much like our previous Imperial Series.
Only now the metal emblems will be replaced by depictions of Nordic runes & design.
These engravings will feature a bright green glow!
It's incredible how bright these can get, even radiating in well-lit room.
You can see for yourself some of the models available:
These pictured are only the prototypes,
and the final versions will have small design tweaks,
as well as use the intended material to match the theme (Not pure black).
Seeing as how there are no emblems on these,
the faces will have a brushed finish for a grip enhancement.
The edges, or bevels,
will be polished to a high gloss for a smooth strike across the strings.
There will be a couple customization options available too.
It's all preference but polished faces or satin bevels (similar to a "ghost rim" or "master finish", but finer in grit )
can also be accommodated upon request. Just leave a note with your order.
A satin-finished bevel will produce a brighter tone with more "bite" on the attack,
instead of a squeaky-clean glide.
A polished face will show off the depth & pearlescent features of each unique pick.
Furthermore,
we will be able to reduce the thickness of these picks down to 2.5mm,
with the standard thickness being 4mm.
When will this new Ragnarok Series become available?
They'll be here before you know it, so stay tuned!
The projected release date is sometime in the first 2 weeks of November.
Updates will be sent out via our e-mail list,
which you can subscriber to >here<
